Two new versions of the Govee Floor Lamp Basic have arrived. This smart lamp originally launched in 2022, with customers able to choose between black and white versions of the product.
Now, Govee has released champagne (gold) and blue versions of the Floor Lamp Basic. Plus, these two new versions of the smart light are Matter compatible, meaning they can integrate with a wide range of smart home ecosystems. The new product listings also mentioned the brand’s AI assistant, which can be used to generate scenes based on your mood, a holiday or an event.
Otherwise, the new variants of the Govee Floor Lamp Basic are identical to their predecessors. Each has an RGBICW light source with 14 segmented color controls. In the Govee Home app, users can choose from 58 preset scene modes, some of which can sync to music. Alternatively, you can control the device with voice commands. The brightness is adjustable up to 1,000 lumens, with a wide range of colors and color temperatures on offer. The smart light supports Bluetooth and 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi, and measures 200 x 200 x 1,363 mm (~7.9 x 7.9 x 53.7 inches).
In the US, you can currently buy the Govee Floor Lamp Basic in Champagne and Blue for $69.99 (RRP $99.99) thanks to a $30 discount at Amazon or the brand’s online store. The gold version of the smart lamp has also appeared at Amazon Germany, where it is priced at €89.99, with a wider European rollout expected in the near future.
