Govee launches new outdoor UpDown wall light with 360° dynamic lighting effects

Govee has unveiled its latest outdoor UpDown wall light in the US market. Advertised as the industry's first all-around dynamic wall light, it features independently adjustable colors on all four sides. Govee’s wall light is equipped with 360° dynamic lighting effects to offer an immersive lighting experience in your outdoor space, said the company in its press release. 

Speaking about lighting tech, the outdoor UpDown wall light’s up and down beams come with the RGBWW technology, while the right and left sides feature RGBIC technology, which offers 16 million colors. The outdoor wall light boasts 1200 lumens of brightness, which is said to deliver ample brightness while maintaining a warm and comfortable atmosphere. 

Furthermore, you can choose from over 64 preset scenes and 19 DIY modes or create your own effects from a range of colors. Plus, you can also set speed and direction for your custom lighting. Needless to say, the outdoor light also has Goove Home app support, offering users full control of the lights. Alternatively, you can use voice commands through Amazon Alexa or Google Home to control the lights. 

There’s an AI lighting bot that offers AI-generated lighting suggestions, or you can also generate lighting effects based on a voice or text prompt. As far as the range is concerned, the Matter-compatible smart light covers a maximum wall-washing area of up to 12 square meters. Additionally, the UpDown wall light is IP66 waterproof and UV resistant, which is said to offer a reliable performance in rain, snow, or intense sunlight. 

Moreover, Groove’s latest outdoor light can be paired with a Groove outdoor motion sensor that further automatically triggers the preset lighting effect the moment motion is detected. However, there’s no motion sensor available in the box, meaning you have to purchase it separately.
