Nanoleaf Smart Outdoor Lights now available to pre-order in Europe

The Nanoleaf Smart Multicolor Permanent Outdoor Lights are now available to pre-order in Europe. These smart lights launched in the US last year following their debut at CES 2024. Customers are offered the Smarter Kit, which includes a 49 ft (~15 m) string with 30 LED light pucks. This is trimmable and extendable up to 147 ft (~45 m) thanks to the Expansion Pack, with each set offering 10 LED pucks set on a 16.4 ft (~5 m) long string.

Users of the Nanoleaf Smart Multicolor Permanent Outdoor Lights can choose from over 16 million colors and a range of color temperatures using the attached controller or remotely via the Nanoleaf App. You can also select from a range of pre-set dynamic lighting effects, some of which are linked to holidays like Halloween or Christmas, and others sync to music. Plus, within the app is an AI tool that can generate color palettes based on a word or phrase.

Connectivity options include Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, and there is support for Matter over Wi-Fi. It is worth noting that a Matter-compatible hub is required for integration with your smart home ecosystem. The transparent background is designed to help the lights blend in with their surroundings, and they are marketed as UV resistant and IP67 dust and waterproof.

You can now pre-order the Smart Multicolor Permanent Outdoor Lights Smarter Kit (49 ft) for £169.99/€199.99. The Expansion Pack (16.4 ft) is also available to order, priced at £49.99/€49.99. Orders are expected to start shipping at the end of June 2025. It is unclear whether or when the 98 ft and 147 ft variants of the Smarter Kit will arrive in this region; the former is currently available at Amazon US for $349.99.
