Xiaomi is rolling out the Smart Desktop Air Circulation Fan across Europe. The company describes this as a compact model, designed for use on a table or desk. While images on the product page suggest that it could be used outdoors, it is designed for indoor use.
The Smart Desktop Air Circulation Fan is said to offer “auto 3D air distribution”, with oscillating 120° horizontally and 100° vertically. According to Xiaomi, with a 10 m (~33 ft) circulation range and 1,180 m³/h (41,671 ft³/h) airflow, it could circulate a room’s air in around three minutes. Users can choose from 100 speeds, with the lowest setting generating 28.4 dB(A) noise, which may be suitable while you are sleeping.
Xiaomi’s Smart Desktop Air Circulation Fan can consume 1.75W and supports 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi. As such, you can remotely control the device through the Xiaomi Home app. Plus, it works with Google Home and Amazon Alexa. The fan is powered via USB-C; while it comes with an 18W adapter, Xiaomi suggests you could also use a power bank, with a 10,000 mAh model providing up to 26 hours of runtime. Marketed as lightweight and portable, the product has a tilting stand, measures 324 x 200 x 334 mm (~12.8 x 7.9 x 13.1 inches) and weighs 2.0 kg (~4.4 lbs).
You can now buy the Xiaomi Smart Desktop Air Circulation Fan in countries including the UK, France and Germany for €99.99/€74.99. In Spain, it is slightly cheaper at €89.99.
