The Xiaomi Mijia Robot Vacuum Mop 5 Pro has been released in China. This new flagship model boasts up to 23,000 Pa suction power and is also said to offer the brand’s most powerful AI cleaning assistant to date. Other features included a lowering sensor tower, lifting brushes and mops, and support for HyperOS connect.

Xiaomi has launched the Mijia Robot Vacuum Mop 5 Pro in China. This is the brand’s new flagship model, with triple-camera panoramic vision and its most powerful AI cleaning assistant yet.

At the front of the Mijia Robot Vacuum Mop 5 Pro are one standard and two infrared cameras, a wide lattice laser, and a night vision light. The robot uses these elements and AI to recognize over 200 objects and 47 types of dirt, allowing it to adjust the cleaning accordingly. Matching the earlier M40S model, it offers up to 23,000 Pa suction power. It is fitted with a main brush, a side brush to reach the corners and edges and dual rotating mop heads. All of these can be lifted to optimize cleaning on hard floors or carpets.

Alongside the cameras and laser, the Robot Vacuum Mop 5 Pro uses a radar tower to navigate your home. This sensor can be lowered into the body of the device, allowing it to clean under lower items of furniture. Powered by a 4,800 mAh (rated capacity) battery, the robot also supports HyperOS Connect. It can be linked to other smart home products and remotely controlled via the Xiaomi app or with Xiao AI voice commands.

Customers can choose between two versions of the product with different docking stations. The Water Tank Edition comes with a taller dock with a built-in water tank. The Water and Drain Version has a shorter dock that is connected to the plumbing system. Both versions of the docking station offer smart mop rewashing if dirt is detected, mop drying with 80°C (~176°F) hot air and automatic dust collection for up to 75 days of hands-free cleaning. The robot has a white body and measures 350 x 88 mm (~13.8 x 3.5 inches) when the radar is lowered.

The Xiaomi Mijia Robot Vacuum Mop 5 Pro Water Tank Edition is priced at CNY 4,999 (~$696), while the Mijia Robot Vacuum Mop 5 Pro Water and Drain Version is more expensive at CNY 5,699 (~$794). Whether or when this model could arrive in Europe remains to be seen; in European countries like Germany, the company already sells models like the Robot Vacuum X20 Max (curr. €524.70 at Amazon).
