New Xiaomi smart Mini Washer Dryer launches

The Xiaomi Mijia Washing Machine Mini Washer and Dryer 1.2kg has been released in China. It is a larger version of the Mijia Washing Machine Mini Washer and Dryer 1kg, which launched in this market in 2024.

The newer Mijia Washing Machine Mini Washer and Dryer 1.2kg has a 1.2 kg (~2.6 lbs) washing capacity. This equates to a pair of yoga pants or pajamas, or multiple pairs of underwear. There is a 15 minute quick wash setting with a pre-mixed spray to reduce water usage. Detergent can be preloaded and intelligently dispensed as necessary. Plus, there is a maximum temperature of 95°C (~203°F), with a 99.99% sterilization rate.

Xiaomi’s Mijia Mini Washer and Dryer has the same 0.5 kg (~1.1 lbs) drying capacity as the smaller model. There is a 45 minute quick wash and dry setting, with low temperature options to protect delicate fabrics. Also, the air vent will automatically open if you wash at night to ensure your clothes are kept fresh until the next day. You can remotely control the washer dryer through Xiaomi’s app, where customers can expect to receive OTA updates. Designed to sit on a countertop, it measures 328 x 452 x 461 mm (~12.9 x 17.8 x 18.1 inches)

You can now buy the Xiaomi Mijia Washing Machine Mini Washer and Dryer 1.2kg in China for CNY 1,999 (~$278). It seems unlikely that this product will be released in Europe, as the company has yet to start selling its laundry devices here. However, Xiaomi already sells other smart home products here like the Robot Vacuum X20+ (curr. €362.90 at Amazon Germany).
