Xiaomi launches more powerful Robot Vacuum X20+ in additional countries
The Xiaomi Robot Vacuum X20+ is now on sale in the EU. The new model was spotted on the brand’s global website earlier this month and is already on sale in Hong Kong. You can now buy the X20+ directly from Xiaomi in countries like Spain and Italy for €399.99.
Plus, in Italy, customers are offered a €50 discount when they purchase the model before April 30th, lowering the price to €349.99. Product listings for the robot vacuum can be found at Amazon in the Netherlands, France, and Germany, although it is currently out of stock. Also referred to as the X20 Plus, the device is an upgraded version of the X20. The Robot Vacuum X20+ provides up to 6,000Pa suction power when vacuuming, an increase on the 5,000Pa of the X20, and 180 rpm mopping. The robot can detect a rug or carpet and intelligently lift the mop by up to 7 mm (~0.3 inches) accordingly to avoid wetting the fabric. The docking station is said to provide up to 75 days of hands-free cleaning thanks to a 4L water tank and large dust bag. On top of that, the mop is automatically washed and dried on docking, though this appears to be with room temperature water and air.
The device uses Xiaomi’s S-Cross obstacle avoidance technology and LDS laser navigation to move smoothly around your home. As with other robot vacuums from the brand, you can control it via the Xiaomi Home app or with Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant voice commands. It remains to be seen whether the Xiaomi Robot Vacuum X20+ will roll out to other European countries or retailers.
