Xiaomi has listed the Robot Vacuum X20+ on its global website, indicating that it will soon launch this product in various countries worldwide. Also known as the X20 Plus, the model follows the X20, which was revealed earlier this year and is already on sale in countries like Hong Kong and Taiwan.
The Robot Vacuum X20+ is more powerful, with 6,000Pa peak suction power rather than 5,000Pa. The mopping functions are the same, with the mop pads rotating up to 180 times per minute and automatically lifting when a carpet or rug is detected. Another upgrade for the X20+ is found in the docking station, which adds automatic dust collection to the existing automatic dirty water tank emptying and clean water tank refilling. Plus, the mop will be automatically washed and air-dried after cleaning. Xiaomi claims that the dock can transfer collected dust from the vacuum to the docking station in ten seconds, with the intelligent dock allowing up to 75 days of hands-free cleaning.
The X20+ uses S-Cross technology to avoid obstacles in your home, accurate to within several millimetres, and LDS laser navigation generates a 360° map of your home. The robot vacuum can be controlled via the Mi Home/Xiaomi Home app and Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant voice commands. You can already buy the Xiaomi Robot Vacuum X20+ in Hong Kong for HK$2,999 (~$380). It is unclear precisely when the model will arrive in more countries.
