Xiaomi has unveiled the Redmi Max 100 2025, a huge 100-inch Smart TV that offers impressive features, including 240-Hz gaming mode and support for Dolby Atmos, Dolby Vision, and HDR10+ for the equivalent of less than 1,200 euros.

Together with the Redmi Turbo 3 smartphone and the Redmi Pad Pro tablet, Xiaomi unveiled several other products yesterday. These include the Redmi Max 100 2025, the next giant Smart TV from Xiaomi after the Xiaomi TV S85 Mini LED.

The new Redmi Max 100 2025 is only available in China so far. Information on a global sales launch is not yet available. Unfortunately, the chances are probably not too good, even though Xiaomi already sells Smart TVs in Europe. Should it nevertheless be launched globally, the Redmi Max 100 2025 would probably also be more expensive than in the Chinese domestic market, where it will go on sale for a manageable (looking at its size) 8,999 yuan, the equivalent of around 1,150 euros.

However, a global launch of the Redmi Max 100 2025 would certainly be exciting. With a screen diagonal of 100 inches, or 254 cm, this is a huge Smart TV that the manufacturer claims is also suitable for gamers. In addition to a 4K resolution, it has a high refresh rate of 144 Hz. Even 240 Hz is possible in "competitive mode".

The brightness of the LCD panel is specified by the manufacturer as 700 nits. The device supports the high-contrast standards Dolby Vision and HDR10+ and is also compatible with Dolby Atmos. The Smart TV has HDMI 2.1 on board, in addition to a total of three HDMI ports, two USB ports, and a LAN. It also supports Wi-Fi 6 and has two 15 W speakers. At the heart of the Redmi Max 100 2025 is a quad-core processor with Cortex-A73 cores paired with 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of storage space. For the operating system, Xiaomi relies on its own HyperOS.
