The Hisense E8N Pro 4K Mini LED TV has been launched in China. The model is said to be the official TV for the upcoming game Black Myth: Wukong and is offered in four sizes, from 65” to 100”. The number of backlight partitions varies by size: the 65” has 1,664, the 75” has 2,160, the 85” has 2,376, and the 100” has 2,592.
According to the product listing at JD.com, the 100” model has up to 5,000 nits brightness and 95% coverage of the DCI-P3 color gamut. While the TV has a native 144Hz resolution, Hisense claims it supports a 288Hz motion rate. The model is compatible with technologies such as Dolby Vision IQ, HDR 10+, IMAX Enhanced, and Filmmaker Mode, and it has a built-in 2.1.2 channel speaker system that includes a 25W subwoofer. There are various gaming features like VRR, ALLM, MEMC, and Dolby Gaming. Hisense also suggests that it is in the process of gaining FreeSync Premium Pro certification. Plus, the TV can automatically detect the type of console connected, with tailored settings for the PlayStation, Xbox and Nintendo Switch.
The Hisense E8N Pro 4K Mini LED TV can now be pre-ordered in China, with the 65”, 75”, 85” and 100” models currently priced at 7,099 yuan (~$980), 8,999 yuan (~$1,240), 11,999 yuan (~$1,660), 21,999 yuan (~$3,040), respectively. After this pre-sale period, the models are expected to retail for 7,599 yuan (~$1,050), 9,999 yuan (~$1,380), 13,999 yuan (~$1,930), 23,999 yuan (~$3,315). Whether the model will go on sale in other countries remains to be seen; Hisense already sells 4K Mini LED TVs like the U8 Series Mini-LED ULED 4K UHD Google Smart TV in markets like the US.
