Xiaomi has now presented its latest Redmi devices, albeit only in China for now. Both the Redmi Pad Pro and Redmi Turbo 3 have been joined by special Harry Potter Editions, which Xiaomi has sought to advertise with an elaborate promotional campaign.

Xiaomi has now released Harry Potter Editions of its latest Redmi products. As expected, the company has applied the Warner Bros. tie-in to the Redmi Pad Pro and Redmi Turbo 3, full launch details of which you can find via the appropriate hyperlinks. While the Redmi Note 13 Pro Plus 5G Fan Festival Edition is available in Europe, it appears that the Harry Potter Editions of the Redmi Pad Pro and Redmi Turbo 3 will be Chinese exclusives.

Accordingly, Xiaomi has recreated Platform 9¾ , which remains a popular tourist attraction at London's King's Cross railway station. On the one hand, the company has given Peking University East Gate station a Harry Potter makeover, complete with a Platform 9¾ between station platforms. On the other hand, it has extended the Harry Potter theme to a subway on Beijing's Metro Line 4 dubbed the 'Magic Train', presumably after the Knight Bus.

Fundamentally, the Redmi Pad Pro Harry Potter Edition and Redmi Turbo 3 Harry Potter Edition are the same as their regular counterparts with identical hardware. However, Xiaomi includes several limited-edition accessories and designs that bear the Hogwarts logo. Also, the company has restricted the Harry Potter Editions to sole memory configurations, unlike the regular versions of both devices. As such, people who want a Harry Potter Edition must pay CNY 2,299 (~$318) for the Redmi Pad Pro and CNY 2,699 (~$373) for the Redmi Turbo 3.
