Kuura Ring boasts heart-rate, SpO2 and skin temperature monitoring in titanium alloy ahead of crowdfunding launch
Oura and Ultrahuman have yet more competition on the horizon - if the way it launches go to plan, that is. The Kuura Ring will be unleashed to try and disrupt the ever-growing smartwatch-alternative space soon.
Its eponymous OEM projects that the Ring will ship with in-demand features such as a skin temperature sensor as well as one for blood oxygen and heart-rate. It is also currently touted to deliver potentially high-quality tracking data for fatigue as well as stress and how well the user is sleeping.
The Kuura Ring is also backed to generate advanced work-out development guidance to help make sure the wearer can "Live Limitless" - particularly as they will be doing so toting a potentially durable titanium alloy band on their finger.
The OEM has indicated that it is to come in black, gold or gray finishes (even if it looks a little plain compared to this Oura Gen 3 Heritage on Amazon).
Kuura will debut its inaugural wearable on April 16, 2024 via Kickstarter, a platform on which early-bird backers will be eligible to "lock in" a special price of $99 for the device, a discount of up to 50% compared to its eventual retail units.
