New iHeal Ring 3 smart ring tracks heart rate, SpO2, sleep and more for a reasonable price
Kospet's iHeal brand was recently the subject to negative criticism in our review of the iHeal 6 smartwatch, as the advertised health functions work significantly worse and less accurately than promised. This concerned mainly the ECG and blood pressure measurement functions.
The manufacturer has avoided making similar promises from the outset with its new iHeal Ring 3. The new smart ring is only advertised with the usual health features, that is, 24/7 heart rate and blood oxygen measurement (SpO2). However, the accuracy of these functions cannot be verified until the ring is tested and reviewed.
According to Kospet, the new iHeal Ring 3 also measures daily activities such as steps and calories burned and has comprehensive sleep tracking on board, which also supposedly records short naps. The manufacturer also advertises sports tracking and an integrated sports game function with its own instructor. The data measured by the smart ring, which is water-resistant up to 5 ATM, can be viewed in the Cyfit app on a smartphone or tablet. It is compatible with Android 5 and iOS 10 and higher.
The battery capacity is 20 mAh, which is said to provide a runtime of three to five days. Of course, the battery life also depends on various settings and the intensity of use. The smart ring is charged magnetically.
The new Kospet iHeal Ring 3 is available directly from the manufacturer. Made from nano-ceramic, it is only available in Black Silver in five different sizes from 17.6 to 20.8 mm. The price is quoted at $99.99. Shipping is free of charge.
