New iHeal Smart Ring promises blood pressure monitoring and up to 100 days of battery life, launches at half price

In addition to the iHeal 5 and iHeal 5R smartwatches, Kospetfit has launched a new smart ring. As with the smartwatches, the manufacturer promises a lot of functions in an even more compact wearable format, but this should be taken with a grain of salt.

According to the Kospetfit's press release, the new iHeal ring is able to measure blood pressure, among other things. However, readers should view such claims with a dose of skepticism, since this is not a medical product and manufacturers of cheap wearables often promise a lot, but fall short in precision or even function.

The other announced functions of the Kospetfit iHeal Ring are likely to be more reliable. The smart ring should, among other things, be able to measure heart rate and blood oxygen (SpO2) and thus provide a basic overview of user health. There is also talk of sleep monitoring and various sports modes. Thanks to IPX8, the iHeal ring, which weighs 5 g and is 3.3 mm thick, is also waterproof and can thus be worn during water sports.

The manufacturer claims a battery life of up to 7 days under normal use. Those who purchase the power bank charging station for an additional $10 can even go up to 100 days without a power outlet, something that earphones have been capable of for quite some time now.

The new iHeal ring is available directly from Kospetfit. According to the manufacturer, the recommended retail price is $199.99. Thanks to a $100 discount, the smart ring is currently on offer for just $99.99. It comes in Silver Black or Ceramic White and in four sizes from 49 to 68 mm.
