Kospet has launched the iHeal 5A smartwatch, which is now shipping to countries worldwide. The company claims the wearable has many health-tracking features, including sensors to track your blood glucose level, skin temperature, and blood pressure and take ECGs. However, the accuracy of these tools is uncertain.

The Kospet iHeal 5A smartwatch has been launched. The new wearable builds on the iHeal 4, adding ECG and PPG sensors to track your heart rate. The company claims that its latest smartwatch has many health-tracking features, including an optical sensor to monitor your heart rate and a pulse oximeter to measure your blood oxygen level.

Kospet also alleges that you can use the iHeal 5A to take an ECG, which could be used to detect signs of Atrial Fibrillation (AFib). However, data proving the accuracy of this feature has not been provided, and the watch does not appear to be medically certified, so these claims should be approached with caution. Other watch tools are said to include skin temperature and blood glucose level sensors; again, the correctness of these measurements remains to be seen. Plus, you can use the device to track your sleep health and exercise, with over 20 activities. Thanks to Bluetooth 5.1 connectivity, alongside a built-in microphone and speaker, you can use the smartwatch to make calls; the wearable is compatible with phones running Android 5.0 or iOS 9.0 and above.

The smartwatch has a 1.39-in TFT display with a 360 x 360 dpi resolution and up to 450 nits brightness. The watch weighs around 40g (~1.4 oz) and is rated as IP67 waterproof, meaning it can withstand short periods of immersion. A 230 mAh battery allows the watch to run for around 15 days with typical use. You can now buy the Kospet iHeal 5A smartwatch for $39.99, a large discount on the suggested retail price of $149.99; it is unclear how long this deal will last. The company ships to various countries worldwide, including the US, the UK, Canada, Australia and various EU nations, with shipping costs varying by region.
