MagyarWaterproof Tank G1 smartwatch offers GPS, compass, barometer, 15-day battery life and more at a cheap price
Rogbid has launched the next model in its Tank series. The Tank G1 is once again a robust smartwatch with a round design. Although it doesn't meet military standards like other wearables from Rogbid, it is at least well protected against dust and water according to IP68 standards. According to the manufacturer, it can be worn at temperatures from -20 to +50 °C.
The round display of the Rogbid Tank G1 measures 1.39 inches and has a TFT panel with a resolution of 360 x 360. This is housed in an aluminum alloy chassis with a zinc alloy bezel, which is held on the wrist by a strap made of skin-friendly silicone.
A PPG sensor is located on the back, which enables 24-hour heart rate monitoring and can also measure blood oxygen. Furthermore, the Tank G1 from Rogbid offers sleep analysis and breathing training, as well as various sports modes such as walking, running, cycling, jumping rope, yoga and more.

In addition to GPS, BDS, Glonass, Galileo and AGPS for localization, the new smartwatch from Rogbid also offers a compass, a barometer and an altimeter as unusual smartwatch functions. Other features include Bluetooth telephony and smartphone notifications. The battery is quite large at 430 mAh and, according to Rogbid, should last up to 15 days in typical use and up to 30 days in standby mode. In practice, this is likely to be less.
The new Rogbid Tank G1 is available directly from the manufacturer at a price of $49.99, and can be ordered in three colors - black, orange and khaki - as well as a bundle with two wristbands for a small surcharge. The smartwatch is not yet available on Amazon, but other products from Rogbid, such as the Tank S3, are available there and may be of interest to buyers.
