A Redditor has stumbled across official documentation for a second-generation Garmin Lily hybrid smartwatch. Surprisingly, Garmin has posted a 'Lily 2 Sport' product image on a Japanese support page, evidence of which we have embedded above and below. For reference, the image will remain viewable on the Wayback Machine should Garmin de-list it.
At any rate, the Lily 2 retains many design cues from its predecessor, including a glossy bezel and a matte body. Garmin has switched to conventional lug ends for the Lily 2 series, which should make it easier to swap out watch bands when needed. Garmin has not officially confirmed a Lily 2 series release date yet. However, an early December leak outlined that the Lily 2 will be available in two styles which were previously referred to as the Lily 2 and Lily 2 Classic. Unfortunately, Garmin's support page does not reveal the SKU of the model shown.
The cream finish and silicone watch band suggest that it is one of the two 'Lily 2' SKUs that were highlighted in last month's leak. Additionally, the same leak detailed four 'Lily 2 Classic' SKUs, two with leather straps and another two with nylon bands. Currently, Garmin is expected to sell the Lily 2 Sport and Lily 2 Classic for £219.99 and £249.99, respectively.
