Amazfit has launched updates for its T-Rex Ultra and Falcon smartwatches. The new software appears to be identical for the two models, with users confirming the T-Rex Ultra update is labelled version 8.36.8.1 and is 18.10MB in size.
New features with the latest update include Zepp Coach running plans, with data like Completion Rate and Confidence level available via the Zepp App. Amazfit notes that you must end any active Zepp Coach Basic AI plans to enable the new running plan. Two activities have been added to allow you to track Pickleball and Padel workouts, found under Workout > More workouts > Ball workouts. The software also includes several optimizations, like adding real-time performance data to the data page and Track run distance data displayed in meters or yards.
For Strength training, you can now adjust weight settings by increments of 0.5 for more precise lift tracking. Your personal best records are displayed by type for Running, Climbing and Swimming. Plus, when using a time-tracked training template or interval training, any vibration or sound alerts are triggered in the final five seconds of the segment. If you own an Amazfit T-Rex Ultra or Falcon smartwatch, you can install this update via the Zepp app by going to Profile > Select your model name > Check for updates. The new software appears to be rolling out gradually, so it may not be available on all units yet.
