New smart ring from Rogbid launches at half price: 24/7 health tracking and more in a ceramic design
Rogbid has already made a name for itself with smartwatches such as the recently released Tank M3 and is also known for its reasonably priced models, some of which are available here on Amazon. Now, the company has broken new ground and presented its first smart ring.
The new Rogbid Smart Ring can be ordered directly from the manufacturer. The RRP is listed there as $199.99. However, a discount of $100 is being offered at launch, meaning that the price of $99.99 is currently only half the recommended retail price. The smart ring is available in four color variants in black and white, each combined with silver or gold, and in eight different sizes from 16.5 mm to 22.3 mm.

Waterproof to 5 ARM, the Rogbid Smart Ring is made of microcrystalline nanoceramic and antibacterial stainless steel and has a series of sensors on the inside. These are used for 24/7 health tracking and, according to the manufacturer, enable users to determine their heart rate, dynamic heart rate patterns, blood oxygen (SpO2) and body temperature. In addition, it monitors sleep quality, tracks sporting activities, menstruation and also provides information about the body's recovery.
Touch gestures can be used to control various features in conjunction with a smartphone and other Bluetooth devices, e.g. music playback and the camera. There is also an SOS function to call for help in emergencies. Rogbid states that the Smart Ring has a battery life of up to 7 days in normal use and up to 30 days in standby mode.
