MagyarUlefone Armor 23 Ultra available for under $500 with iPhone-like satellite communication and 120 W charging
Ulefone is now selling the Armor 23 Ultra globally, adding to its extensive Armor series. To recap, the company showcased the Armor 23 Ultra a few months ago at IFA 2023 in Berlin. Since then, Ulefone has introduced the Power Armor 18 Ultra, as well as the Power Armor 18T Ultra.
Like Ulefone's other recent smartphones, the Armor 23 Ultra comes IP68, IP69K and MIL-STD-810H certified, although the latter is not independently verified. Additionally, the Armor 23 Ultra weighs 332 g despite its comparatively small 5,280 mAh battery. Still, the handset can recharge its battery at 50 W wirelessly and 120 W via a wired connection.
Moreover, Ulefone has installed a 6.78-inch IPS display that outputs at 1080p (2,460 x 1,080), 120 Hz and is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus. Separately, Armor 23 Ultra packs several high-resolution cameras within its 177.4 x 81.5 x 12.8 mm chassis, including a 64 MP night vision sensor supported by a pair of IR lights. Furthermore, the Armor 23 Ultra sports two-way satellite messaging like recent iPhones.
However, the Armor 23 Ultra relies upon the Bullitt satellite service and the Skyko satellite network rather than Globalstar, Apple's satellite service provider. The Armor 23 Ultra is available for $499.99 on AliExpress in Elite Black and Umbra Orange colour options.
