CIRCUL RING health-tracking wearable with unusual design crowdfunding soon
The CIRCUL RING will soon begin crowdfunding on Indiegogo. The smart ring has an unusual design that is said to provide the perfect fit. The ring is described as stretchable, with an elastic sensor allowing the size to adjust for a comfortable fit for your finger. This should also make it easier to put on or take off. Despite this patented technology, the wearable is still expected to be offered in a range of sizes.
According to the CIRCUL RING campaign teaser page, the smart ring can track health metrics like heart rate, heart rate variability (HRV), blood oxygen level, blood pressure and temperature. The accuracy of these sensors remains unclear, with the company claiming it has a “medical-grade endorsement”. Other features include sleep tracking, exercise logging, and stress and energy level monitoring. The company also notes a one-second data update cycle, describing the time delay until collected data is viewable in the accompanying app. Little information is provided about the app, which is said to give users analysis and insights relating to their health and wellness. While the ring is shown with a charging case, the estimated runtime on a single charge is not given.
The wearable is made from aerospace-grade material, with a metal shell waterproof to up to 5 ATM. The smart ring will be offered in three colors: black, silver, and dark gray. While the pledge levels for the CIRCUL RING’s Indiegogo crowdfunding campaign have yet to be revealed, the page suggests that the earliest customers will receive a 50% discount on the wearable’s RRP. As always, pledging to the crowdfunding campaign does not guarantee receipt of the item.
