Amazon's limited-time sale has dropped the Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 by 16%. The 128 GB model is currently available for $669.99, which is a $130 price cut from what the Android tablet generally goes for. While that might not seem like much, it's the lowest price for this particular variant, making it offer a great value.
Under the hood, the Galaxy Tab S9 packs the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2. Although it's a last-gen flagship processor, it's the best you can get from Samsung's current tablet lineup. That makes it stand as the most powerful 11-inch tab that the brand offers. Of course, Samsung also offers a bit more capable variant, the 256 GB model with 12 GB of RAM, which also happens to be on sale at $769.99 on Amazon.
Note that the Android tablet on sale is a WiFi-only variant. So, you can't connect it to the web with LTE. But you can always use your phone as a hotspot in places where there's no WiFi.
Getting back to the highlights of the Galaxy Tab S9, we liked the display that it comes with. In our review, we noted that the panel can get really sharp and reasonably bright even in outdoor conditions. We even found the readability of the Dynamic AMOLED screen good. However, note that there was some flickering in our tests when it was at a 240 Hz refresh rate.
Another thing that we liked about the Android tablet is the speakers. With support for Dolby Atmos, AKG tuning, and a stereo setup, it can deliver rich and loud sound. Other good aspects of the Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 include a bundled S Pen, an IP68 rating, a slim and sleek design, Samsung DeX, and long software support.
