Razer has released versions of its BlackShark V2 Pro wireless headset compatible with either the Xbox or PlayStation. The OEM touts them as ideal for their respective consoles thanks to their "crystal-clear" TriForce audio, and noise-isolating cups with "all-day comfort" memory foam reinforcement.

Razer asserts that its "ultimate wireless headset" is now "made for esports" with new variants specifically designed for the premier consoles from either Sony or Microsoft.

The BlackShark V2 Pro for PlayStation supports the PS5's Tempest 3D Audio optimization for immersion, whereas the other version is similarly augmented with Spatial Audio with Windows Sonic (for the Xbox One/Series X/S or Windows 10 to 11 PCs).

Both new versions still pack the OEM's TriForce Titanium 50mm Drivers for that potentially surround-sound effect, and integrate a detachable Razer HyperClear Super Wideband Mic.

They can connect to their corresponding devices via either Bluetooth 5.2 or its HyperSpeed wireless dongle, which has a USB-C connector.

The BlackShark V2 Pro for PlayStation or Xbox have been listed on razer.com in black or white for $199.99 or €219.99, whereas the 'original' version of the headset started at $179.99 on Amazon - however, it is discounted to $126.99 in its black SKU, or to $126.95 in its Rainbow Six Siege edition, at the moment.
