PlayStation 5: Dirt 5, Godfall and Rainbow Six Siege among 11 launch titles for Sony's next-gen console?

Rumoured lists of PS5 launch titles have been circulating for a while now, with some dating to over a year ago. Now PlayStation Official Magazine UK claims to have confirmed that 38 games are in development for the PS5, of which 11 may be launch titles.

According to the magazine, it expects the following games to be released during the console's launch window:

• Assassin's Creed Valhalla
• Dirt 5
• FIFA 21
• Godfall
• Madden 21
• NHL 21
• Observer: System Redux
• Outriders
• Quantum Error
• Rainbow Six Siege
• Redo! Enhanced Edition

Unsurprisingly, several EA annual releases are on the list. There is no reason to believe that this list is exhaustive, though. Past PlayStation launches have had considerably more launch titles than PlayStation Official Magazine UK has offered up, so we expect that to continue with the PS5.

There may not have that long to wait until Sony reveals some of the titles that will be making their way to its next-generation console. According to Jason Schreier, who now writes for Bloomberg, Sony is planning to host a game reveal event on June 3.
