Alleged list of future PlayStation 5 games includes Grand Theft Auto VI and remastered The Last of Us Part II
An apparent list of upcoming exclusive and non-exclusive games for the PlayStation 5 console has been shared online. The names of the games were provided by a person who claims to work in the game industry and has first-hand experience with the rumored PS5 console. The details were uploaded to Pastebin and analyzed by GamesRadar.
The exclusive list of titles is chockfull of apparent remasters: The Last of Us Part II, Ghost of Tsushima, and PUBG (free to play, 4K). Joining that list is a VR-ready version of Gran Turismo 7 and two or three other Triple A games and a couple of PS VR 2 games, according to the Pastebin poster. As pointed out by GamesRadar that is a high percentage of remastered games, which would be an odd choice for Sony in regard to showing off the brand-new PlayStation 5.
As for the supposed non-exclusive titles, there is Battlefield: Bad Company 3, an unspecified Assassin’s Creed game, Horizon: Zero Dawn 2 (2021 release), a Harry Potter game, and GTA 6 for holiday 2020 with a possible setting in both Miami and New York. It’s more than likely this is someone simply speculating on what games future PS5 owners will be playing, but if it is accurate, then it wouldn’t be a terrible start for the Sony console.
