Razer has unveiled three new gaming headsets: BlackShark V3 Pro, BlackShark V3 and BlackShark V3 X. The Pro model is the most feature-rich and the first BlackShark-branded headset to come with active noise cancellation.

Razer has unveiled a new high-end gaming headset: BlackShark V3 Pro. It improves upon the BlackShark V2 Pro and adds a bunch of new features and dials. For one, it is the first BlackShark headphones to come with what Razer calls Hybrid Active Noise Cancellation. It employs four mics on each headset to filter out ambient noise.

Users can switch between ANC On, ANC Off and Ambient mode with the switch of a dedicated button. The BlackShark V3 Pro comes with several other buttons, such as one to mute the microphone, another to cycle between eight equaliser settings saved on-device. With a dedicated volume roller knob, there's a second one that can be mapped to specific functions.

The Razer BlackShark V3 Pro comes with the company's in-house TriForce Bio 5 nm drivers with a frequency response of 12 Hz to 28,00 kHz. Razer claims it comes with completely revamped internals and a 75% larger magnet. Its HyperClear Full Band 12 mm detachable mic has a lower range of 12 Hz to 10,000 kHz and a sampling rate of 48 kHz.

Gamers can pick between four connectivity modes on the BlackShark V3 Pro: Bluetooth, USB, 3.5 mm and 2.4 GHz dongle. It employs Razer's newest HyperSpeed Wireless Gen 2 dongle with an advertised latency of 10 ms. The headset also supports operation in dual 2.4 GHz and Bluetooth mode, thanks to an individual chip for each connection.

Other Razer BlackShark V3 Pro features include virtual 7.1.4 THX Spatial Audio (PC only), Windows Sonic (Xbox) and 3D Tempest Audio (PlayStation). Razer Synapse come with pre-tuned audio profiles for popular titles such as Halo Infinite, Counter-Strike 2, Valorant, Apex Legends and more. Razer claims the headphones can last up to 70 hours on a single charge, likely without ANC.

Razer has also shown off the BlackShark V3 and BlackShark V3 X. As their names suggest, they are affordable versions of the headset with fewer features. For example, ANC is limited to the Pro Model, and dual-mode connectivity is not available on the BlackShark V3 X. Similarly, the BlackShark V3 and V3X use a different Razer TriForce Titanium 50 mm Drivers Gen-2 driver. Here's how much each model costs:

  • Razer BlackShark V3 Pro (PC, PlayStation and Xbox): $249.99/€269.99
  • Razer BlackShark V3 (PC, PlayStation and Xbox): $149.99/€169.99
  • Razer BlackShark V3 X (PC, PlayStation and Xbox): $99/€119.99

You can pre-order all the PC and Xbox versions from Razer's website now. The PlayStation version is expected to hit shelves later.
