Glow-up your setup with the upcoming Razer Nommo V2 rear projection Chroma RGB speakers
Razer has just announced its Nommo V2 lineup of desktop speakers to replace the first generation Nommo V1 series. The new lineup consists of three options: the higher-end Nommo V2 Pro, midrange Nommo V2, and entry-level Nommo V2 X.
Firstly, the Nommo V2 Pro includes a wireless control pad, wireless subwoofer, aluminum phase plug, and two desktop drivers for $449 USD retail. In typical Razer fashion, the speakers are compatible with Chroma RGB for an extra level of customization. The RGB colors project through the rear of the speakers onto the wall which is a highlight the new V2 series when compared to the older V1.
The next level down is the Nommo V2 which includes a wired subwoofer, aluminum phase plug, two desktop drivers, and no control pod for $299 USD. Chroma RGB is still supported.
The lowest tier option is the Nommo V2 X which includes no subwoofer, no control pod, no aluminum phase plug, and no Chroma RGB support. Instead, users are getting just the two full-range drivers for $149 USD.
It's important to note that all options ship with the same 3.2-inch desktop drivers and so audio quality should still be largely the same between them if you ignore the subwoofer.
The Nommo V2 series is set to launch before the end of June.
