AMD Radeon RX 7600 specifications leak with same VRAM as NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060 Ti series
VideoCardz has received information about the Radeon RX 7600, AMD's alternative to the GeForce RTX 4060. Incidentally, NVIDIA has just announced the RTX 4060 alongside two versions of the RTX 4060 Ti, covered separately. As for the Radeon RX 7600, the graphics card appears to rely on the Navi 33 XL GPU, implying that AMD has also developed a Navi 33 XT alternative for something like a Radeon RX 7600 XT.
Additionally, the Radeon RX 7600 packs 32 Compute Units, 2,048 Stream Processors and is alleged to peak at 2.85 GHz. However, GPU-Z currently reports that the graphics card has 2,655 MHz boost, 2,250 MHz game clock and 1,720 MHz base clock speeds. Moreover, AMD has equipped the Radeon RX 7600 with 8 GB of GDDR6 VRAM clocked at 18 Gbps on a 128-bit memory bus. In other words, the Radeon RX 7600 will match the 288 GB/s memory bandwidth of the RTX 4060 Ti series.
The Radeon RX 7600 will utilise the PCIe Gen4 x8 interface too, and will require a single 8-pin power connector. AMD is expected to announce the Radeon RX 7600 on May 25. Currently, the company is rumoured to have priced the graphics card at €349, which would roughly convert to US$299 excluding 20% VAT. It remains to be seen whether AMD will adjust pricing following the launch of the RTX 4060 at US$299 though, considering its history of cutting prices at the last minute to combat NVIDIA.
