AMD Radeon RX 7600 to undercut NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060 with European and US pricing
VideoCardz has now leaked Radeon RX 7600 pricing for Europe and the US. Allegedly, AMD shared the pricing of its upcoming mid-range graphics card yesterday, which VideoCardz has subsequently confirmed with several 'press and influencers'. Perhaps unsurprisingly, AMD has decided to offer the Radeon RX 7600 for less than the GeForce RTX 4060, which NVIDIA announced last week for US$299. For context, NVIDIA has priced the 8 GB and 16 GB versions of the GeForce RTX 4060 Ti for US$399 and US$499 too, respectively.
In comparison, AMD will release the Radeon RX 7600 for US$269 and €299 in Europe. Thus, not only will AMD undercut NVIDIA but it will also undercut the Radeon RX 6600, which arrived for US$329 and €339. The Radeon RX 7600 will retain the 32 Compute Unit (CU) count of the RX 6600 XT and RX 6650 XT. However, AMD has based its RX 7000 series graphics card on its new RDNA 3 architecture, contained within a Navi 33 XL GPU that has 2,048 Stream Processors with 2.25 GHz game and 2.62 GHz boost clocks.
Additionally, the Radeon RX 7600 has 8 GB GDDR6 VRAM operating on a 128-bit memory bus at 18 Gbps for a 288 GB/s memory bandwidth. The graphics card will also have a 165 W TGP, 33 W higher than its predecessor. AMD will formally launch the Radeon RX 7600 on May 25, just over a year after it debuted the RX 6650 XT. Reviews for early Radeon RX 7600 cards should start arriving tomorrow.
