AMD Radeon RX 7400 and RX 7300 reportedly in the works with a Navi 33 GPU
With no high-end Radeon RX 8000 SKUs on the table, gamers have to make do with mid-range RDNA 4 SKUs this time around. AMD doesn't seem to be done with the RDNA 3 line up, either. A noted X leaker @KOMACHI_ENSAKA says the company has two entry-level SKUs lined up, the Radeon RX 7400 and Radeon RX 7300.
The leaker adds both graphics card will use a Navi 33 GPU. It will likely be a cut-down variant of the one found on the Radeon Pro W7500 and not the one found on the Radeon RX 7600 XT or Radeon RX 7600. Most of its specs are unknown and the fact that AMD is yet to unveil a Radeon RX 7500 makes things more intriguing. Therefore, it is possible RDNA 2 won't get a xx50 SKU. Instead, it will be replaced by the Radeon RX 7400, with the Radeon RX 7300 talking the last-gen RX 6400's place.
Alternatively, the leaker may have gotten their names wrong and the two SKUs in question might launch as the Radeon RX 7500 and 7400. Either way, if the leak is accurate, it shouldn't be long before we find out for sure. AMD is tipped to show off RDNA 4 at CES 2025 and it could very well stealth drop the two entry-level RDNA 3 SKUs alongside them, like it did with the Zen 3 Ryzen XT SKUs and Granite Ridge.
