Deal | Samsung Galaxy Tab S9+ price drops to lowest ever in Amazon deal - cheaper than an iPad Air

In our review of the Samsung Galaxy Tab S9+, we complained that the $999 price was a little much for the overall package. Fortunately for those interested in the 12.4-inch Android tablet, a limited time Amazon deal on the Samsung Galaxy Tab S9+ means that you can get the beefy Android tablet for as little as $749 — $150 off the MSRP and the lowest price it has been so far. 

The only two caveats to the Galaxy Tab S9+ Amazon deal is that it only applies to the beige version of the 256 GB WiFi-only model. The Graphite colour scheme is only 20% off MSRP, at $799.99. For those looking for more storage, the 512 GB Graphite Galaxy Tab S9+ also has a 26% discount applied, bringing the price down to $831.

The latest Galaxy Tab S9+ is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 for Galaxy, and all storage variants have the same 12 GB of RAM — plenty for basically any Android tablet needs. While the $749.99 Amazon deal is only applicable to the 256 GB version, Samsung handily still includes a microSD card slot in the Galaxy Tab S9+, making upgrading storage down the line a piece of cake.

One of the highlights of the Galaxy Tab S9+ is undoubtedly the display. In our review, we found the 120 Hz, 12.4-inch, 2800 × 1752, 16:10 AMOLED display to be plenty bright, topping out at 900 cm/m². The Samsung panel is also colour accurate with Delta E values of 2.01 and has reasonably wide colour gamut coverage, at 75.3% of the AdobeRGB colour space.

The large, fast, and accurate display paired with performant internals and expandable storage make the Samsung Galaxy Tab S9+ worth considering for everything from on-the-go office productivity to media consumption, and even digital art and media creation.

By comparison, the cheapest, and smaller, iPad Pro 11-inch comes in at $999, with an extra $79 on top of that for the base model Apple Pencil. The nearest comparable iPad Air would be the 13-inch iPad Air M2, which starts at $899 for the 256 GB version — again, Apple Pencil sold separately.
