Will Samsung make its 14.6-inch Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra (available here at Amazon) just as thin as Apple's latest 13-inch iPad Pro with the Apple M4, which at 5.1 mm is still 0.4 mm thinner than Samsung's device? Judging by recent durability tests (here und here), this is a double-edged sword. However, such speculation is definitely still too early, as it will be quite a long time before the Galaxy Tab S9 series officially becomes obsolete.
On average, it takes Samsung a year and a half to launch the successors. At least this was the case with the last generations of the Galaxy Tab S series, whose last representatives were launched in August 2023. Android Headlines thus concludes that the Galaxy Tab S10 generation is unlikely to be released until spring 2025, perhaps together with the Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25+ and Galaxy S25 Ultra in January 2025. Nevertheless, our colleagues have already discovered concrete clues about the development of at least two Galaxy Tab S10 models in their launch database, which also revealed a new Xiaomi 15 model.
As the screenshots below supposedly prove, Samsung has started the development of three Galaxy Tab S10 Plus tablets, which are to be launched with the SM-X828U, SM-X826B and SM-X826N model numbers in the US, internationally and South Korea. Also discovered was the first representative of the Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra model with the number SM-X926B - the global variant that is also expected in Europe. That a regular Galaxy Tab S10 has not yet appeared is probably due to the fact that Samsung is yet to start development, explains Android Authority, but it will certainly be developed.
