Xiaomi POCO Pad officially launching with POCO F6 and POCO F6 Pro after Redmi Pad Pro global release
Xiaomi has just brought the Redmi Pad Pro to global audiences as a more premium alternative to the likes of the Redmi Pad SE (curr. $164.99 on Amazon). Nonetheless, it has moved onto the POCO Pad, a name that leaked about a month ago. However, the first sighting of the tablet appeared in mid-March courtesy of the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC).
Now, Xiaomi has confirmed that the POCO Pad will receive a global release itself. Somewhat surprisingly, the tablet will join its POCO F6 series launch event, which previously consisted of the POCO F6 and POCO F6 Pro. For reference, the POCO F6 and POCO F6 Pro are re-brands of the Redmi Turbo 3 and Redmi K70, respectively.
Currently, Xiaomi has only hinted that the POCO Pad is a 'large display entertainment king'. Regardless, Camera FV-5 and the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) have already outlined that the POCO Pad and Redmi Pad Pro are otherwise identical. Thus, the POCO Pad will feature a 12.1-inch display, as well as a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 chipset. Presumably, Xiaomi will sell the tablet with the same active stylus and detachable keyboard accessories as the Redmi Pad Pro after its full May 23 unveiling.
