The POCO brand could soon be expanded to include a tablet option. Based on early evidence, Xiaomi's first POCO tablet will be available globally too, perhaps as soon as this spring.

Xiaomi has unveiled plenty of tablets of late, many of which it ended up releasing globally as well as in its home market. Most recently, the company introduced the Pad 6S Pro 12.4 in China before launching it globally during MWC 2024 a few days later. While the Pad 6S Pro 12.4 serves as the company's current flagship tablet, it also sells more affordable options outside China like the Redmi Pad SE (curr. $177.49 on Amazon).

To that end, it appears that Xiaomi is working on another tablet for global audiences but not under its Xiaomi Pad or Redmi Pad series. Instead, a recent Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) certification suggests that Xiaomi has developed a new tablet that it will offer under its POCO brand. For context, although Xiaomi now sells countless POCO smartphones and even a POCO smartwatch, it has not yet expanded the POCO brand to tablets.

Unfortunately, the EEC does not reveal any device specifications. With that being said, the regulatory body links the unnamed POCO tablet to the model number '2405CPCFBG', the 'G' suffix of which confirms its intended global launch. Additionally, the model number outlines a possible May 2024 release window, which appears to be when Xiaomi is working towards unveiling the CIVI 4, too.
