Vivo Pad3 Pro becomes official as flagship tablet with Dimensity 9300

After a good number of leaks, the Vivo Pad3 Pro has finally become official. The company’s general manager and vice president, Jia Jingdong, has given a detailed preview of the upcoming tablet. As some of the previous reports suggested, it’ll indeed be a flagship.

To be precise, the Pad3 Pro is now confirmed to pack the Dimensity 9300, a flagship SoC from MediaTek. In the announcement post, Jia Jingdong claims that the tablet is a “benchmark leader,” which may just be true because the MediaTek chipset has dominated AnTuTu’s flagship charts for three months in a row now.

As for the screen, the Vivo Pad3 Pro equips a 13-inch display that features a 3.1K resolution, 144 Hz refresh rate, and eye protection. The tablet supports the Vivo Pencil2, which is a stylus that Jia Jingdong says can simulate handwriting well and is great for artistic creations.

Jia Jingdong has also mentioned the battery capacity and audio setup of the Pad3 Pro. The tablet is set to have a large 11,500 mAh cell and an 8-speaker acoustic system for an immersive listening experience.

Software-wise, the Vivo Pad3 Pro will run OriginOS 4, a custom skin that’s based on Android 14. The tablet will also have productivity-focused features and support for an optional keyboard cover.

Other details and the price of the tablet have yet to be announced. But there’s no need to do much waiting as the Vivo Pad3 Pro will make a formal debut alongside the X Fold3 in the Chinese market on Tuesday of next week.
