While Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 may be the flagship chipset of choice for most OEMs this year, its rival, the Dimensity 9300, appears to perform better for the most part, as evidenced by the SoC's continued dominance of AnTuTu's flagship performance chart.
Back in January, the OPPO Find X7—powered by MediaTek's Dimensity 9300—made its first appearance at the top of AnTuTu's performance chart. The OPPO flagship retains its spot for February as well, despite the arrival of a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3-powered device like the Xiaomi 14 Ultra.
Speaking of the new Xiaomi flagship phone, it's not listed on the chart at all, indicating it's not among AnTuTu's top ten best-performing Android devices at the moment. It sits in 11th position overall, however. For what it's worth, the Samsung Galaxy S24+ and Galaxy S24 Ultra are the worst-performing Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 devices on the list.
Looking at the individual scores, the OPPO Find X7 and Dimensity 9300 deliver the highest CPU score of any device on the list. To be exact, all Dimensity 9300 devices on the list have higher CPU scores than the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 phones. The reverse is the case on the GPU end, though, with the Dimensity 9300 phones all being worse than their Snapdragon 8 Gen 3-powered counterparts.
