OPPO Find X7 with Dimensity 9300 blasts past Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 on AnTuTu
OPPO released a vanilla alternative to its 2023 flagship (non-foldable) Android smartphone with the Dimensity 9200 in 2022. Now, it seems the Find X6 is getting a successor - one capable of outdoing it and nearly any other top-end device that comes its way thanks to its direct SoC upgrade.
The AnTuTu group's Weibo feed asserts that the Find X7 has hit its benchmark, based on the detection of an OPPO model number that also assailed the Geekbench database recently. The "PHZ110" has apparently scored over 2.2 million in its latest outing, thereby outperforming an alleged pre-release OnePlus 12 (possibly a close twin to the Find X7 Pro), not to mention Qualcomm's own official 8 Gen 3 reference device, in the process.
AnTuTu also suggests that the "X7" might have achieved this performance with the help of next-gen, optimized LPDDR5T RAM as well as its new MediaTek silicon. If so, it is well-served with 16GB of the latter, not to mention the version of ColorOS 14 it might have out of the box.
All in all, it is to be hoped that the Find X7 manages to join the X7 Pro - not to mention its cousin the Vivo X100 - on the global market in 2024.
