OPPO Find X7 Ultra tipped to become new Android super-flagship smartphone
The Find X series of smartphones has consisted of vanilla and Pro versions for the last few generations. Now, however, OPPO is going Ultra for the first time in 2024, according to a new report attributed to Digital Chat Station, anyway.
As the name suggests, the "Find X7 Ultra" is destined for the latest and greatest upgrade OPPO can currently provide - in other words, it is now tipped to be the one to launch with the OEM's first-gen satellite smartphone technology.
It is backed to have the same specs as the Find X6 Pro successor otherwise - except for the mythical dual periscope lens set-up, which might be at its most "exclusive" in the Ultra variant.
The new claims have given rise to speculation that the new camera hump allegedly leaked onto Weibo belongs to the Ultra, whereas the Find X7 (and possibly even the X7 Pro) could be demoted to one most like that of the Find N3.
Furthermore, the X7 is depicted as getting a non-Hasselblad-branded version, which would be a departure from its predecessor the X6. On the other hand, only 2 model numbers have been linked to OPPO's next crop of flagship smartphones thus far.
