OnePlus smartphones have often been accused of becoming more and more like their OPPO counterparts: the former does indeed have the latter as a parent company, and seems to have become more subsumed into the same over the last few years.
However, the situation also works the other way around sometimes, with the latest effect allegedly being that OPPO's next flagship smartphone might be the first of its line to launch with an Alert Slider. The Find X7 Pro is clearly depicted as joining the Find N3 and N3 Flip in sporting the hardware toggle in its latest image leak.
The feature is clearly visible to the right of the colossal, potentially Huawei-annoying, rear camera housing in its latest alleged Weibo appearance. Furthermore, the new hands-on photo has an Easter egg: an IMEI sticker that, while partially redacted, yields a model number sighting.
Digital Chat Station purports to confirm that the new identifier (PHY110) belongs to the X7 Pro - and that the vanilla X7 is the PHZ110 - based on the devices' fresh certification in China. The famed leaker also indicates that the X7 Pro will launch with the same fingerprint scanner as its predecessor, yet will have the same display specs as the OnePlus 12 otherwise - in other words, it will be a 6.82-inch curved 2K 120Hz panel.
Unlike the 12, however, the Find X7 series has yet to be officially announced or scheduled for a launch at present.
