OnePlus 12: New colorway and Alert Slider shown off in new photo leaks
Any doubt that the OnePlus 12 would launch without an Alert Slider has been dispelled in its latest leaks. The popular hardware toggle is distinctly visible in its latest photos, be they official or otherwise - it's just on the opposite side to that of its predecessor the 11.
Some of these images showcase the expansion of the practically traditional gamut of premium OnePlus smartphone colors in the upcoming 10th-anniversary flagship. Company executive Li Jie Louis has confirmed that the 12 will have a sleek dark silver camera hump to go with its new white finish option.
To be more accurate, the corner-mounted, Hasselblad-branded housing may be closest to that color in OnePlus' latest promotional shots. However, according to the Weibo account Technology Meow, things might be different out in the real world.
The leaker claims to have laid hands on a 12 in white, with a camera accent that might come across with even more gloss and chrome effect in the wild. These real-life shots might be subject to extra lighting variables in this case (its curved rear panel also looks closer to gray, for example), yet may also establish that the device will have a distinctly last-gen frame of a camera hump-matching color.
In any case, should the 12's white/silver version fail to whet a consumer's appetite, they can choose the device in a marble-effect green finished with a camera hump of a darker shade instead.
