AnTuTu has published its official benchmark charts for November for what it considers flagship and mid-range smartphones. While Qualcomm continues to dominate the former, there has been some movement and the relegation of two Snapdragon 8 Gen 2-powered models. As the image below shows, the MediaTek Dimensity 9300 now occupies second and fifth spots in AnTuTu's flagship ranking thanks to the Vivo X100 and Vivo X100 Pro, respectively.
Supposedly, only a 0.2% gap exists between the Vivo X100 and the RedMagic 9 Pro Plus, the current benchmark topper with a score of 2,188,631 points in AnTuTu V10. Considering that neither the Vivo X100 or Vivo X100 Pro rely on active cooling solutions, there is a chance that a Dimensity 9300-backed gaming smartphone could usurp the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3's dominance as the fastest Android chipset of the moment.
Meanwhile, MediaTek continues to dominate AnTuTu's mid-range leaderboard. Specifically, eight of a possible ten places are occupied by MediaTek chipsets, whether that be the Dimensity 8200 in the iQOO Z8 and Oppo Reno11 or the Dimensity 8200 Ultra and Dimensity 8100 Max that underpin the Redmi Note 12T Pro and OnePlus Ace Racing, respectively. Nonetheless, the Snapdragon 7 Plus Gen 2 outperforms its MediaTek peers, with over a 14% difference measured between the Realme GT Neo5 SE and the Oppo Reno11 in the former's favour.
