EcoFlow has unveiled the PowerInsight Home Energy Manager. The device was shown at Solar Solution Dusseldorf and is detailed on the brand’s Enterprise website. The new product fits into EcoFlow’s portfolio of home solar power generation and energy storage solutions.
The PowerInsight has a 10-in (~254 mm) IPS touchscreen with a 1280 x 800 px resolution, showing an energy data summary and providing quick access to smart home controls. The all-in-one device can display data in real-time or by day, month or year. You can view insights about home energy consumption and sources, the charge and discharge of batteries and solar power generation if you connect a device like the EcoFlow 400W Rigid Solar Panel. The PowerInsight can intelligently optimize your home power consumption, reducing energy bills through solar power, connected batteries and grid feeding.
Thanks to Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and Matter connectivity, you can also connect a wide range of smart home devices. You can set scenes to control gadgets simultaneously, such as turning off all the lights when you leave the house or triggering them to switch on at a particular time. Plus, the PowerInsight has an integrated temperature sensor, adjusting the climate in your home to lower energy use; other built-in sensors monitor proximity, humidity and ambient light. It is unclear how much the PowerInsight Home Energy Manager will cost or when it will be available to consumers.
