OnePlus Ace 3 display specs outlined in new leak
The OnePlus 12 is now touted as the Android display world's latest standard-bearer. Then again, it is said to be joined on the market soon by the Ace 3, a device that might give some potential buyers pause due to its very similar specs at a potentially reduced price, some of which might prove the more practical on top of that.
The third-gen Ace's display is now thought to to be based on new X1 technology from BOE, just like the 12 (and, quite possibly, the OPPO Find X7). The panel is tipped to launch imbued with a "brightness and dimming scheme" nearly identical to those of the 12: potentially key display specs that come in at a class-leading peak of 4,500 nits and 2,160Hz PWM with an added DC mode respectively in the new "10th anniversary" flagship.
Then again, the Ace 3's display is once again projected to be 1.5K in resolution, as opposed to 2K in that of the 12, and also to be the smaller of the 2 at 6.78 inches. Nevertheless, the Ace 3 is once again slated to launch with a slightly larger battery with OnePlus' flagship-grade 100W charging.
Finally, the Ace 3 is now said to launch with a "metal mid-frame", a tip that may or may not hint at the more modern flat-edged design somehow overlooked in the new 12.
