OnePlus Ace 3 to launch with Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset and optional 16 GB of RAM
An upcoming OnePlus handset has turned up on Geekbench under the model number PJD110. While the company is in the throws of teasing its next flagship, it also appears that it is preparing to release a slightly less premium model. For reference, the OnePlus 12 has already appeared on the same benchmarking platform as 'CPH2581'.
Although Geekbench does not reveal OnePlus' intended marketing name, CPH2581's CPU core arrangement confirms it to be a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3-powered device. In comparison, 'PJD110' features 'ARM implementer 65 architecture 8 variant 1 part 3406 revision 0', an identifier linked to the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2. Similarly, a single CPU core clocked at 3.19 GHz, four running at 2.8 GHz, and three efficiency cores limited to 2.02 GHz underline that 'PJD110' is a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2-derived device.

Additionally, Geekbench reveals that PJD110 has 16 GB of RAM, presumably its higher RAM configuration after a 12 GB base offering. Moreover, the handset was benchmarking with Android 13. However, we would expect the device to launch with Android 14, given OnePlus' previous track record. Thus, it appears that 'PJD110' relates to a future OnePlus Ace, likely the OnePlus Ace 3.
Incidentally, OnePlus confirmed last month that the Ace 3 would showcase a new BOE-sourced AMOLED display. Purportedly, the panel will output natively at 1.5K with 2,600 nits peak brightness, putting it just short of the OnePlus 12. Based on past performance, the Ace 3 will eventually reach other markets as the OnePlus 12R, with up to 512 GB of storage and a 5,500 mAh battery capable of 100 W wired charging.
