OPPO Find X7 tipped to launch as periscope zoom camera smartphone with all-new display
The OPPO Find X7 is an Android smartphone that might be destined to bear the same new, super-sized octagonal camera hump now linked to the X7 Pro. However, whether it does or not, it seems it will not have the exact same high-end shooters as its top-end sibling.
The Find X6 successor might not get dual periscope zoom lenses - however, it will get one, according to legendary tipster Digital Chat Station. Its ~3x zoom specs might help the vanilla Find X7 keep up in the premium Android smartphone world, especially if it gets the same Hasselblad HyperTone branding as the X7 Pro and OnePlus 12.
On that note, OPPO apparently has a dilemma on its hands, as it must make a choice between going for the new Samsung E7 panel as rumored or its nearest counterpart from BOE (the supplier to the upcoming OnePlus 12) for its Find X7 Pro.
For the vanilla X7, however, the choice is reportedly much easier, as it will upgrade to a "new" X1 screen (with equally novel backlight and potentially energy-saving materials), also sourced from BOE, instead.
The resulting screen will be as curved as that of the X7 Pro, and is said to match the likes of Samsung E7 in terms of quality. Then again, the Pro variant is tipped to launch with a 2K resolution, whereas its vanilla sibling might not.
