Oppo has succeeded in creating a strong flagship smartphone in the Find X6 Pro, a premium smartphone that focuses primarily on the camera system. It reveals few weaknesses and strong performance in our review, which is reflected in our overall score of a towering 89 percent. This would make it a strong alternative to the Galaxy S23 Ultra or Honor Magic5 Pro if it wasn't for the limited availability.
Also, due to the patent lawsuit from Nokia and the current sales ban of Oppo and OnePlus smartphones in Germany, the current flagship from Oppo is not available in Europe - the same applies to Vivo and its X90 Pro Plus, which is also only marketed in China. But Xiaomi also "tested" an exclusive China distribution with last year's flagship smartphone.
In view of these events and the changing price policy, the danger that Chinese smartphone labels may be forced to bid farewell to some central European markets in the near future seems to be very real. What remains is a very limited market of available high-end smartphones in German-speaking countries, which means that the increased prices in the premium segment, owing to the lack of alternatives and high demand, are likely to continue - and fans of other (non-Chinese) smartphone brands should also view this with concern.
