OPPO has reportedly divulged its Android 14 upgrade plans - and the list of eligible devices in question is markedly short. It also implies that smartphones released two years ago or less are being cut loose in terms of support. Then again, the leak pertain to one region only.

DroidApp claims to know which OPPO smartphones will see the upgrade to stable ColorOS based on Android 14. The list as specified consists of no more than 11 devices: the mid-range A57, A77, A78 and A98; the higher-end Reno7, 8, 8 Pro and 8 T; and the ex-flagship Find X3 Pro, X5 and X5 Pro.

That might seem like a disappointingly limited scope of roll-out - then again, DroidApp claims that its source is from OPPO's Benelux office, which explains the absence of the current top-end Find X6 series. Nevertheless, it may be disappointing news for anyone in the Netherlands, Belgium or Luxembourg who still likes their X2 Pro.

Nevertheless, it will be interesting to see if the list gets any longer in other regions, particularly China or India. Despite all this new detail, DroidApp was not able to press OPPO Benelux to reveal an official Android 14 release date. The OEM has released a Beta 3 version of the upcoming OS thus far.
