OPPO Reno10 series: May 2023 launch date allegedly revealed alongside more specs for new Android smartphones
OPPO is now expected to launch a Reno10 series that is in fact a barely-veiled refresh of their own forebears on May 24, 2023, according to a new leaked poster. Then again, it could introduce the Pro variant as the world's first (and, as it now seems, also the last) Dimensity 8200-powered smartphone with an extra added MariSilicon X NPU.
The vanilla Reno10, on the other hand, is now tipped to launch as a smartphone with much the same display and SoC as its 9-series predecessor. Then again, its main OmniVision OV64B camera may be backed up by not merely an 8MP Sony IMX355 ultrawide-angle lens, but a 32MP IMX709 telephoto sensor with 2X optical zoom to boot.
The "4,600mAh" 10 may also upgrade to 80W SuperVOOC in 2023. The 10 Pro may have 100W SuperVOOC for the same battery, however, as well as the new Sony IMX890 shooter along with the same 2 back-up shooters of the vanilla model.
Both the 10 and 10 Pro are believed to contain their blend of new and legacy specs in the same updated design as the Pro+, although they may get the greater choice of color options (gold, bright blue and black).
Finally, the supposedly upcoming smartphones are thought to retain the increasingly rare property of being IR blaster-enabled smartphones in this generation.
