OPPO Find N3 drops last-gen design and gains Alert Slider in dodgy new leak
OnePlus' announcement of its intention to launch its first ever foldable device later in 2023 has led to speculation that it will come in the form of a Find N3 from its sister brand OPPO. Now, a schematic of a smartphone with a flexible main display that blends hallmark features of both companies might help reinforce that hypothesis.
The image in question allegedly depicts the "Find N3" with what looks like a physical power button and volume rocker on one side, and something else on the other, said to be an Alert Slider. Its appearance has fueled rumors that it will launch as the "V Fold" outside China.
The "N3's" cover display and rear panel also seem to be narrower than those of the N2, a shorter than normal foldable in order to offer more generous proportions in both its screens. It also seems to have a small circle in 1 corner of its rear panel that, despite its resemblance to a punch-hole selfie camera, is thought to be the flash that can't fit into its Hasselblad-branded camera hump.
Despite the plausible nature of this new leak (the Vivo X Fold also has an Alert Slider after all), its original source Digital Chat Station has just rescinded it and removed it from their Weibo feed.
