OnePlus has launched the Ace 2 in China, which could be mistaken for the OnePlus 11. However, while the Ace 2 shares its looks with the OnePlus 11, it utilises the same chipset as the OnePlus 10T. Similarities between the Ace 2 and OnePlus 10T extend beyond their shared chipsets too.
Hence, the Ace 2 contains the Snapdragon 8 Plus 1 rather than the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2. Additionally, the handset has 50 MP primary, 8 MP ultra-wide, 2 MP macro and 16 MP front-facing cameras. As far as we can tell, these are identical sensors to those found in the OnePlus 10T. The Ace 2 appears to borrow its 5,000 mAh battery and 100 W wired charging from the OnePlus 11, though.
Moreover, the Ace 2 has a 6.74-inch AMOLED display that operates at 2,772 x 1,240 pixels and a 120 Hz refresh rate. Although this panel sits firmly between the OnePlus 10T and OnePlus 11, the Ace 2's chassis is much closer to the latter at 163.4 x 74.3 x 8.7 mm and 204 g. The Ace 2 starts at CNY 2,799 with 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage (~US$412) but rises to CNY 3,499 (~US$515) with 16 GB of RAM and 512 GB of storage. Purportedly, OnePlus will sell the Ace 2 in other markets as the OnePlus 11R.
